♿️ The Tantallon Public Library [3646 Hammonds Plains Rd., Upper Tantallon] is accessible via the 330 and 433 bus routes, which stop behind the library at the Hubley Centre stop, with an approximated 2 minute walk to the library entrance. The entrance to the library is accessible via a sidewalk with two inclined parts, and has a wide set door equipped with an automatic door-opening button located on a pillar before the door on the right side. There is also accessible parking very close to the entrance. Once inside, the entirety of the library is on a single ground floor. There are two gendered bathrooms that each have a wheelchair accessible stall, equipped with metal grab bars. The bathroom doors do not have automatic door-opening buttons, but library staff are nearby to help open them. The bathrooms are equipped with sharps bins over the paper towel dispensers. The library also has masks available for those who need one!
