🌺 The Planting with Pride Showcase in St. Margaret’s Bay is an opportunity for anyone in the community to show their Pride. We invite residents and businesses to create and display Pride-inspired gardens, planters and outdoor spaces this spring. Organized by the St. Margaret’s Bay Garden Club in partnership with St. Margaret’s Bay Pride, this initiative celebrates creativity, builds community connections, and uplifts 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility and allyship during Bay Pride 2026 (July 5-26th) in a fun and inclusive way. 🌈

📷 How to Participate: Design and Plant a Pride-themed display. Then snap a photo of your creation and submit it via the form linked below by July 10 at 11:59 PM AST for a chance to win great prizes!

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

  • Small but Mighty Blooms (for container displays; both for an individual planter and for a display of several containers)

  • Little Sprouts Pride (for kids garden and kids container)

  • Bursting with Pride (full of colour garden display)

  • Laughing with Pride (quirky and comical, pots and/gardens)

  • Neighbourhood in Bloom (three or more folks in a neighbourhood entering)

  • Community Business in Bloom (most ambitious container or garden display for a business entry)

There will also be a few participation prizes selected through a random draw, so everyone who participates will have the chance to be celebrated.

Selections will be announced at Bay Pride Fest on July 25th at the Hubbards Barn, and winners will also be notified via email and announced on both the garden club website and St. Margaret’s Bay Pride’s website.
